About The Position
Chariton Specialty Care, a 60-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in Chariton, Iowa, is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). The full-time position is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., with every other weekend required. The CNA supports residents with daily care, monitoring, companionship, communication, and activities while following infection control protocols. Requirements
- Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in Iowa, or the ability to activate certification.
- Strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.

Responsibilities
- Support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Provide emotional support and companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
- Communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
- Monitor residents' health, including conducting routine vital checks.
- Encourage and facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities that enhance residents' health and daily routines.
- Follow infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
