About The Position
Crestview Specialty Care is a 65-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in West Branch, Iowa, and is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). The role supports residents through daily care, health monitoring, companionship, and assistance with recreational and therapeutic activities. Evening schedules are available for full-time and part-time employees. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and shift differential.
Requirements
- Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in Iowa, or the ability to activate certification.
- Strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Provide emotional support and companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
- Communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
- Monitor residents’ health, including conducting routine vital checks.
- Encourage and facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance residents’ health and daily routines.
- Follow infection control protocols to help maintain a clean and safe environment.
