About The Position

Care Initiatives is hiring Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) for evening shifts across its skilled nursing communities in Iowa. The role supports residents through their healthcare journey by assisting with daily living, offering companionship and emotional support, monitoring health, and encouraging recreational and therapeutic activities. Full-time and part-time schedules are available. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and shift differential.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in Iowa, or the ability to activate certification.
• Strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, and foster a positive, engaging environment.
• Communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Monitor residents’ health, including conducting routine vital checks.
• Encourage and facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities to support residents’ health and daily routines.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
