Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About The Position

Certified Nursing Assistants support residents with activities of daily living and provide emotional support and companionship. They monitor and document residents’ health information, report concerns to nursing staff, follow infection-control protocols, help maintain a clean and safe environment, and collaborate with the healthcare team. Requirements
- Be certified in the state as a CNA, SRNA, or GNA.
- Attend a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education programs provided by the center to maintain certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Offer residents emotional support and companionship.
- Monitor vital signs and accurately document patient information.
- Report changes or concerns to nursing staff.
- Follow infection-control protocols.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to support high-quality care.
- Attend at least 12 hours of continuing education programs provided by the center to maintain certification.
