About The Position

Signature HealthCARE at North Hardin Rehab & Wellness Center is a 164-bed facility offering short-term rehabilitation and traditional long-term care. The organization provides integrated healthcare services across multiple states, including skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted and memory care, and home-based services. Its mission is to advance resident-centered care, personalized spirituality, and quality of life. The Certified Nursing Assistant performs direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and helps maintain a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment. The role provides activities of daily living within the scope of practice and each resident’s plan of care. This position is for an 8-hour shift from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., with a weekend rotation. Benefits begin after 30 days. The salary is up to $21.44 per hour.

Requirements

Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state in which the facility operates.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
Customer-service orientation and ability to work well under pressure.
Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
Ability to function independently, demonstrate personal integrity and flexibility, and work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
Help promote a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Provide activities of daily living within the scope of practice defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident rooms.
Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other assigned information.
Routinely turn and position residents as necessary.
Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
Assist with the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
Complete other special projects and duties as assigned.
