About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine healthcare services in clients’ homes. The role involves following care plans to provide safe, competent care and supporting clients’ quality of life. As a 1099 independent contractor, the CNA can set a flexible schedule based on their needs and client availability. The stated pay range is USD $18.00–$20.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of state-mandated training hours, if applicable.
- Basic knowledge of computer and internet-based applications for charting.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Compassionate and professional demeanor.
- Safe working knowledge of client-based equipment.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Provide evidence of health status that does not pose a risk to clients or other caregivers.
- CNA certification required.
Responsibilities
- Follow care plans to provide safe and competent care.
- Assist clients with personal hygiene and meal preparation.
- Help clients with mobility.
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions or home situations to the RN Case Manager and HHA Coordinator.
