Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About The Position
Interim HealthCare is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personalized, home-based care to seniors and people living with an illness, injury, or chronic disease in their homes in Eugene, Oregon, and surrounding areas. The role offers scheduling flexibility, allowing CNAs to choose when they work. Care is provided at a 1:1 aide-to-client ratio. The CNA assists clients with daily activities and mobility, monitors and documents health information, and alerts a supervisor to issues that may require changes to care, medication, or medical equipment. The position pays $22–$24 per hour. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active Nursing Assistant Certification in Oregon.
- CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
- Compassionate nature and good communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Care for seniors and people with an illness, injury, or chronic disease in their homes.
- Assist with daily activities, including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail and skin care, eating, and nutritional intake.
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Check vital signs, measure intake and output, monitor blood glucose, and document changes.
- Observe patients and notify a supervisor of issues requiring changes in care, medication, or medical equipment.
