About The Position
Homestead of Kingfisher is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents and support their physical, emotional, and social well-being. The role includes helping residents with daily living activities, offering companionship, monitoring and documenting health information, and contributing to individualized care plans. CNAs also assist with meals and hydration, support resident activities, and help maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Some college or experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to individualized care plans.
- Deliver individualized care that meets residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Monitor residents’ vital signs, report changes to an RN or LPN, and document as necessary.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed.
- Participate in activities and programs that promote resident engagement and wellness.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including daily cleaning and disinfection of resident areas.
- Lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed.
