About The Position
The Marquardt, an Illuminus Community, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its Skilled Nursing Facility in Watertown, Wisconsin. The CNA provides person-centered personal care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role supports older adults by providing holistic care with dignity, respect, and compassion. The Marquardt is a senior living community on a 52-acre campus offering assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and independent living options. The community is located in Watertown, Wisconsin, between Madison and Milwaukee. This position offers full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities, with scheduling options and shift availability based on community needs. Shifts may be eight hours and may include a scheduled weekend rotation. Pay is $19.16–$21.29 per hour, based on experience.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be current on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
- Be located within approximately 30 minutes of Watertown, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, hygiene, dressing, toileting, mobility, meals, and room preparation, according to the care plan.
- Monitor residents’ condition, respond promptly to their needs, report changes or incidents to the licensed nurse, and accurately document care each shift.
- Promote resident dignity, respect, rights, and effective communication.
- Follow safety, infection-prevention, universal-precautions, body-mechanics, and equipment-use standards.
- Participate in meetings, training, continuing education, on-call duties, and other assigned responsibilities.
