About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide home care to adults in the Mooresville area during recurring day or overnight shifts. Following a written plan of care from a registered nurse, the CNA provides personal care, household support, and companionship to help clients remain safe and independent at home. Requirements

At least one year of work experience.
Successful completion of a recognized CNA training course.
Certification to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Provide light household support, including housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
Prepare meals and assist clients with feeding.
Assist clients with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
Assist with ambulation and transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
Provide medication reminders.
Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
Follow the written plan of care established by a registered nurse.
Travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
