Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA
About The Position
The Claiborne at Johns Creek, a Claiborne Senior Living community, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality, compassionate, resident-centered care to senior residents. The role involves direct resident care within the CNA scope of practice, assisting with daily activities, monitoring and documenting resident status, supporting mobility and safety, and following infection-control, safety, and regulatory guidelines. The position is described as a supportive senior living environment with an emphasis on accountability, teamwork, culture, and professionalism.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it.
- Strong communication skills.
- A compassionate and dependable mindset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care in accordance with CNA scope of practice.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Measure and document vital signs and resident observations.
- Report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
- Support resident mobility, transfers, and safety.
- Document care accurately and promptly.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
