About The Position
Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join its healthcare team in Daytona Beach, Florida. The CNA works under the supervision of licensed nurses to provide basic care and support to residents, including help with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and feeding. The role also involves monitoring vital signs, reporting changes or concerns to nursing staff, and maintaining accurate records of resident care and activities.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Florida.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks independently.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic care and support to residents under the supervision of licensed nurses.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including toileting, transferring, and feeding.
- Monitor residents’ vital signs and report changes or concerns to nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and activities.
