About The Position

Signature HealthCARE at North Hardin Rehab & Wellness Center is a 164-bed facility offering short-term rehabilitation and traditional long-term care. The organization describes itself as a family-based healthcare company providing services across multiple states, including skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted and memory care, and home-based services. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and helps promote a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment. The role supports residents’ daily living needs and rights, following facility policies, state regulations, and each resident’s plan of care. This is a full-time day position, 7 a.m.–3 p.m., with an eight-hour shift and a weekend rotation. Benefits begin after 30 days. The listed pay is up to $21.44 per hour.

Requirements

Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state in which the facility operates.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
Customer-service orientation and ability to work well under pressure.
Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
Ability to function independently, demonstrate personal integrity, and work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
Help promote a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Provide activities of daily living within the scope of practice defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
Change bed linen and regularly maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident rooms.
Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other assigned information.
Routinely turn and position residents as necessary.
Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
Maintain established housekeeping standards in assigned duty areas.
Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
Assist in orienting and training other staff as requested.
Perform other special projects and duties as assigned.
