Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About The Position
Wellspring Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Fairview is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, resident-centered care. The CNA supports residents’ comfort, dignity, independence, and well-being while building meaningful relationships with residents and their families. The role provides hands-on assistance with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily routines; observes and communicates changes in residents’ conditions; and works with nurses, therapists, and other care team members to support individualized plans of care. CNAs also help residents participate in activities, appointments, worship opportunities, meals, and social events. The position offers a choice of day shift (5:30 am–5:30 pm) or night shift (5:30 pm–5:30 am), with rotating weekends and holidays required. Hourly pay is $20.40–$22.00. Benefits are based on employment status.
Requirements
- Current Michigan Certified Nursing Assistant license.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to resident-centered care.
- Compassion, dependability, and patience.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support with residents’ daily activities while encouraging independence.
- Assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily routines.
- Treat each resident with dignity, respect, and compassion.
- Build supportive relationships with residents and their families.
- Observe changes in residents’ conditions and communicate important information to the nursing team.
- Help residents participate in activities, appointments, meals, worship opportunities, and social events.
- Work with nurses, therapists, and other care team members to support each resident’s individualized plan of care.
