About The Position
American Senior Communities is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living. This full-time, day-shift role is scheduled Monday through Friday. CNAs foster a warm, supportive, homelike environment that prioritizes residents’ well-being, dignity, respect, and individualized attention. They assist residents with activities of daily living, provide companionship and reassurance, and contribute to coordinated, comprehensive care. Team members are expected to demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
Requirements
- Hold a valid, current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana.
- Be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
- Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to excellence in senior care.
- Demonstrate supportive presence, physical stamina, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living.
- Provide companionship and reassurance to residents.
- Help create a comforting, engaging, and homelike environment that respects residents’ dignity and individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
