About The Position

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the CNA delivers direct care such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting. The role supports residents in skilled nursing facilities, including those receiving long-term care and short-term, sub-acute rehabilitation. Patient needs may include orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and other post-acute care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a state-approved CNA program.
• Currently registered or licensed in the applicable state and maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain current during employment.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.

Nice To Haves

• One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
• Deliver direct patient care, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, as directed.
• Communicate and function productively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and others.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
