About The Position

The Rehabilitation Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Providence Swedish Rehabilitation Hospital delivers basic patient care under nursing staff supervision, supports patient comfort, and assists with activities of daily living and clinical procedures. The hospital is a 40-bed facility in Lynnwood, Washington, and a joint venture between Providence Swedish and Lifepoint Health. The position is full-time, working nights in three 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week). The stated wage range is $24.25–$30.75.

Requirements

• Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• CPR/BCLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• At least six months of experience in an acute care or long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Provide general nursing support, including positioning, lifting, turning, and using special equipment.
• Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation to the bathroom.
• Take and accurately record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure, and intake/output measurements, and document them in a timely manner.
• Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment, with attention to ventilation and lighting.
• Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including handling patient belongings.
• Answer patient call lights, phones, and pages, responding promptly and appropriately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
