About The Position
Hazlehurst Court Care is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide residents with quality care in a thoughtful and respectful manner. Care should honor and respect each resident. CNAs work under the direction, instruction, and supervision of an RN or LPN. The posting lists shift times of 10–2, 4–8, and 3–7:30 a.m.
Requirements
- Valid Georgia CNA certification in good standing.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including getting out of bed, bathing, dressing, using the toilet, standing, walking, and exercising.
- Help patients maintain good personal hygiene.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Provide routine, individualized healthcare needs.
- Monitor or report changes in health status.
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems for reporting.
- Discuss observations with a supervisor or case manager.
- Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate.
- Promote patients’ mental alertness through involvement in activities of interest.
- Give basic emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
