Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About The Position
Elite Care Management, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to join its healthcare team. The company describes itself as a provider in the private duty health care industry for over 25 years. CNAs work with one patient for the complete shift, getting to know the patient, their needs, and their family life. The role involves assisting patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, and supporting their overall well-being to enhance quality of life. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, including 7 a.m.–7 p.m. and 7 p.m.–7 a.m. shifts on various weekdays and weekends. The stated pay range is $20–$22 per hour.
Requirements
- Driver’s license.
- Social Security card.
- Auto insurance card.
- Current CPR card.
- CNA state certification.
- TB test results: two-step test or chest X-ray within the last 12 months, or QuantiFERON Gold blood work within the last 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems, and report and discuss observations with a supervisor or case manager.
- Support mobility by assisting patients with lifting and transferring as needed.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning, or preparing meals.
- Enhance patients’ quality of life and build relationships through conversation, shared activities, and mental stimulation.
- Monitor patients’ pulse, temperature, and respiration.
