About The Position
Ridge Crest at Meadow Ridge, a Medicare-rated short- and long-term nursing center in Redding, Connecticut, is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants for full-time and part-time positions. CNAs deliver care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. The center describes its staffing ratios as among the best in the industry, with seven residents per CNA. The full-time schedule is 7 a.m.–3 p.m., 30 hours, every other weekend. Part-time openings include 7 a.m.–3 p.m. for 22.5 hours every other weekend and 3 p.m.–11 p.m. for 7.5 hours every Sunday. Hourly pay is $21–$22.25, depending on certification date, with shift differentials of $1.50 for second shift, $2.00 for third shift, and $2.00 for weekends. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time positions, payable in two installments: $500 after 60 days and $500 after 90 days. Applicants must be certified as a CNA in the State of Connecticut. Requirements
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
- Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
- Perform other duties as needed.
