About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides compassionate, hands-on support to skilled nursing residents with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care. The role involves closely observing residents and reporting changes in their physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff; identifying hazards and promptly reporting safety concerns to nurses to help maintain a clean, safe environment; and partnering with nurses to assist with physician-ordered procedures and resident care.
Requirements
- Nurse Aide certification obtained before the hire date or job transfer date.
Nice To Haves
- BLS Provider certification preferred; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification accepted.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
