About The Position
South Mountain Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care to patients and residents in its skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Union, New Jersey. The CNA works closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized care that addresses patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs. The position is listed as part-time, with an hourly rate of $19.50. Per-diem employees receive a $3.00 weekend differential. Full-time employees are offered a no-frills benefits option.
Requirements
- Hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of New Jersey.
- Have experience in a long-term care nursing home.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and residents.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Work with the interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized care addressing patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs.
