About The Position

Certified Nursing Assistants work alongside fellow caregivers to provide residents with daily nursing care and services based on each resident’s plan of care and individual needs. CNAs also offer companionship, compassion, and encouragement. The position is located at Kingston Residence of Hickory in Hickory, North Carolina.

Requirements

• Active state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 0–1 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and activities of daily living, including turning, lifting, positioning, and transportation as needed.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions and make independent decisions when needed.
• Collaborate with the team to support patient comfort and well-being.
• Provide residents with companionship, compassion, and encouragement.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
