About The Position
Right at Home SLC is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide one-on-one in-home care to seniors and adults with disabilities in the Salt Lake area. The role focuses on helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent while providing personal care, companionship, and professional support. Part-time weekday and weekend openings are available.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Able to pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with dementia or behavioral care.
- Familiarity with Hoyer lifts and gait belts.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist clients with hygiene and mobility.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Provide transportation to appointments or outings.
- Give medication reminders.
- Build meaningful connections that foster clients’ well-being.
Benefits
- Competitive pay of $17.50–$18.25 per hour, based on experience or Dementia Certification.
- Minimum $27.50 per shift.
- Training/GUIDE Respite Rate of $17.00 per hour.
- Raises after 60 days and annual reviews.
- Generous bonus after 60 days for employees working 20 or more hours per week who complete required documents.
- Mileage reimbursement between client visits.
