About The Position
St. Elizabeth Home, an Illuminus Community, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide person-centered personal care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The community provides long-term care and short-term rehabilitation in a skilled nursing setting and serves older adults in a not-for-profit, community-based environment. The role offers full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities with scheduling options that may vary according to community needs. Work may include 8-hour shifts and weekend rotation as scheduled. The listed pay is $19.16–$21.29 per hour, based on experience.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
- Current status on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
Responsibilities
- Provides person-centered assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, hygiene, dressing, toileting, mobility, meals, and room preparation, according to the care plan.
- Monitors residents’ condition, responds promptly to their needs, reports changes or incidents to the licensed nurse, and accurately documents care each shift.
- Promotes dignity, respect, resident rights, and effective communication while following safety, infection prevention, universal precautions, body mechanics, and equipment-use standards.
- Participates in meetings, training, continuing education, on-call duties, and other assigned responsibilities.
