About The Position

St. Elizabeth Home, an Illuminus Community, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide person-centered personal care to residents in a skilled nursing setting offering long-term care and short-term rehabilitation. The role works under the supervision of a licensed nurse and is suited to someone passionate about working with older adults and providing holistic, compassionate care.

The position offers full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities, with scheduling options based on community needs. Shifts may be eight hours and may include a scheduled weekend rotation. Pay is $19.16–$21.29 per hour, based on experience. The worksite is 109 S Atwood Ave, Janesville, WI 53545.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be current on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, hygiene, dressing, toileting, mobility, meals, and room preparation, in accordance with the care plan.
• Monitor residents’ condition, respond promptly to needs, report changes or incidents to the licensed nurse, and accurately document care each shift.
• Promote dignity, respect, resident rights, and effective communication.
• Follow safety, infection prevention, universal precautions, body mechanics, and equipment-use standards.
• Participate in meetings, training, and continuing education.
• Perform on-call duties and other assigned responsibilities.
