About The Position

Montezuma Specialty Care, a 41-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in Montezuma, Iowa, is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join its quality-focused care team. The position supports residents through daily living assistance, health monitoring, companionship, and participation in recreational and therapeutic activities. The role is full-time and works overnight shifts, with a competitive hourly rate and shift differential. Requirements

Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state of Iowa, or the ability to activate certification.
Strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.
Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

Support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
Provide emotional support and companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
Communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
Monitor residents' health, including conducting routine vital checks.
Encourage and facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance residents' health and daily routines.
Follow infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
