About The Position

Moments Hospice is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), also referred to as a Hospice Aide, to provide hands-on personal care to hospice patients in their homes, assisted living settings, or care facilities. The role supports patients’ comfort and dignity and provides peace of mind to their families.

The CNA works closely with a dedicated RN Case Manager as part of an interdisciplinary care team. The position includes structured training and an opportunity to build skills in a supportive, collaborative setting with clear expectations and reasonable caseloads. The job is full-time and field-based, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Compensation is $18–$23 per hour.

The company offers a fleet car program providing a vehicle for business and personal use, with fuel and insurance covered at minimal cost, as well as a company cell phone and benefits based on eligibility.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• Ability to work in an electronic medical record system.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including active listening.
• Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Compassion, patience, and ability to handle emotional situations with care.
• Strong understanding of professional boundaries.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and good understanding of body mechanics.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance are required.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare caregiving experience in home care, assisted living/memory care, skilled nursing, a hospital, or hospice.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and skin care.
• Assist with lifting, transferring, positioning, range-of-motion activities, exercise, and ambulation.
• Assist with dining and nutrition.
• Review and follow each patient’s plan of care under the direction of the RN Case Manager.
• Provide comfort and companionship to patients and support to their families.
• Maintain electronic medical records.
