About The Position
Silverado Aspen Park is hiring a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory impairments. The role combines clinical care with personal connection, helping residents live with dignity, comfort, and joy. The position is PRN (per diem), with variable days and multiple shifts: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, and 10:00 PM–6:30 AM. The anticipated pay range is $23–$28 USD.
Requirements
- Completion of CNA training and a valid CNA certificate number.
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working around animals and pets.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
- Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and assistance to residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory impairments.
- Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and dining.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and the Silverado team.
- Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
