About The Position

Baybrooke Village Care and Rehab Center in McKinney, Texas, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personal care and support to residents in a long-term and rehabilitative care facility. The CNA works 8-hour shifts, assists the charge nurse, and provides attentive service as part of a multidisciplinary team. Requirements

State certification as a nursing assistant.
Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
Highly developed observation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care in a manner that supports residents' safety and comfort and follows facility policy.
Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
Advise the supervising charge nurse of residents' status at the beginning and end of each shift.
Contribute knowledge of residents' conditions and needs to resident care plans.
Assist with implementing care plans as directed and within established policies and procedures.
Observe and report on residents' conditions and document observations as required.
Follow established procedures for safely lifting and transferring residents.
Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as needed to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
