About The Position
Austin Oasis is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to join its team providing rehabilitation and skilled nursing care following a hospital stay. The organization focuses on preventing rehospitalization and helping residents return home and regain independence. New graduates are welcome. Certified Nursing Assistants provide basic nursing care to patients and residents within the scope of their responsibilities and perform basic nursing procedures under the direction of a licensed nurse supervisor. The role is based at 901 S Austin Blvd, Chicago, Illinois 60644. The position is offered as full-time and part-time, with a requirement to work every other weekend.
Requirements
- Current Illinois CNA certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Documentation skills.
- Computer skills.
- Availability to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities
- Provide client care according to the approved Plan of Care.
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
- Help provide a safe environment for clients.
- Comply with documentation and record-keeping requirements.
- Provide basic nursing care and perform basic nursing procedures within the scope of nursing assistant responsibilities, under the direction of the licensed nurse supervisor.
