About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant performs basic nursing care procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. The CNA follows treatment plans designed for each resident or patient’s age, needs, and abilities. Duties include assisting with meals and nourishment, transfers using proper body mechanics and appropriate assistive devices, ambulation, bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming. This position is at Masonicare Health Center, a 260-bed skilled nursing facility in Wallingford, Connecticut, and is scheduled for evening shifts, 24 hours per week, every other weekend.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut certification as a nurse’s aide (C.N.A.).
- CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic nursing care procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.

- Assist residents or patients with meals and nourishment.
- Assist with transfers using proper body mechanics and appropriate assistive devices.
