About The Position

Heartline Staffing is recruiting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a long-term care / skilled nursing assignment in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania. Four openings are currently available. The role involves providing direct resident care within a long-term care / skilled nursing environment while supporting resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life. CNAs will assist residents with activities of daily living, take and record vital signs, provide mobility assistance, observe and report changes in residents' condition, maintain documentation, support infection-control and safety procedures, assist with meal setup and hydration, and maintain clean and safe resident environments. They will also provide emotional support, respond to resident needs, assist with restorative and rehabilitation programs, follow care plans, and communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and the healthcare team.

Requirements

  • Valid and current CNA certification
  • 1–2 years of current/recent CNA experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility
  • Current BLS or CPR certification
  • COVID-19 vaccination or applicable exemption WHERE APPLICABLE
  • Ability to assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
  • Ability to accurately take and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output
  • Ability to observe and report changes in residents' physical or mental condition
  • Ability to follow resident care plans, infection-control procedures, safety requirements, and facility policies

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct resident care within a long-term care / skilled nursing environment.
  • Support resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
  • Take and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output.
  • Provide mobility, transfer, repositioning, and ambulation assistance.
  • Observe and report changes in residents' physical or mental condition.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and charting.
  • Support infection-control and safety procedures.
  • Assist with meal setup and hydration monitoring.
  • Maintain clean and safe resident environments.
  • Provide compassionate emotional support.
  • Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights.
  • Assist with restorative and rehabilitation programs as directed.
  • Follow established care plans and facility procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
