About The Position

Heartline Staffing is recruiting experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a 26-week travel healthcare assignment in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. This assignment supports adults with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health needs in a Pennsylvania state-operated Intermediate Care Facility. We are seeking dependable, compassionate CNAs with at least six months of professional CNA experience who are comfortable providing direct care in a structured environment supporting individuals with complex care needs and challenging behaviors. The assignment includes a paid four-week orientation to help prepare CNAs before working independently.

Requirements

  • Active Pennsylvania CNA certification REQUIRED
  • Minimum 6 months of professional CNA experience REQUIRED
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification REQUIRED
  • Permanent tax-home address must be more than 50 miles from the assignment facility in Selinsgrove, PA under Heartline Staffing's travel assignment policy REQUIRED
  • Must be available for an evening or night shift REQUIRED
  • Must be available to complete the required four-week paid orientation REQUIRED
  • Must be able to commit to the full 26-week travel assignment and assigned schedule REQUIRED
  • Must be comfortable providing direct care to adults who may display challenging behaviors REQUIRED
  • Must be able to complete required state clearances and onboarding requirements REQUIRED
  • Must provide required immunization documentation during onboarding REQUIRED

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct resident care within the CNA scope of practice.
  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
  • Support mobility, positioning, transfers, and ambulation.
  • Assist with meals, hydration, nutrition, and activities of daily living.
  • Observe residents and report changes in condition or behavior to nursing staff.
  • Provide appropriate behavioral support within established care plans and facility procedures.
  • Maintain resident dignity, comfort, privacy, and safety.
  • Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility procedures.
  • Complete required resident care documentation.
  • Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
