About The Position
Centurion provides comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections and is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Medical team at Pinckneyville Correctional Center in Pinckneyville, Illinois. CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff to provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. The role includes supporting patients with personal hygiene and daily living needs and monitoring vital signs. This is a full-time night-shift position with a schedule that includes rotating weekends.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required.
- Illinois CNA licensure required.
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/BLS.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Training, experience, or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician, or mental health worker.
- One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency, or correctional setting.
Responsibilities
