Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About The Position
Elite Care Management, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to join its healthcare team. The company has been a provider in the private duty health care industry for over 25 years and focuses on delivering patient care and improving community health outcomes. CNAs work with one patient for the complete shift, getting to know the patient, their needs, and their family life. They assist with daily living activities, promote comfort, and support patients’ overall well-being and quality of life. The posting identifies an urgent need for PRN shifts from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on various weekdays and weekends. Pay is $20–$22 per hour.
Requirements
- Driver’s license.
- Social Security card.
- Auto insurance card.
- Current CPR card.
- Current CNA state certification.
- TB test results: a two-step test or chest X-ray within the last 12 months, or QuantiFERON Gold blood work within the last 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems, and discuss observations with a supervisor or case manager.
- Assist patients with lifting and transferring to support mobility.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Perform light housekeeping, including changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning, or preparing meals.
- Build relationships with patients through conversation and shared activities, and provide stimulation to support their mental health and alertness.
- Monitor patients’ pulse, temperature, and respiration.
