About The Position
Brookdale is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), called a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in Ohio, to provide seniors with personalized care in a community setting. The role works with community management and includes checking in with residents, assisting with dining and personal care, checking vital signs, and performing clinical procedures in accordance with community policy. The CNA also provides resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift. Successful completion of a state CNA/STNA course and maintenance of certification are required. Brookdale describes opportunities for career advancement into roles such as Medication Technician (QMAP), Home Care Aide, and Nurse. Requirements

- Maintain CNA/STNA certification.
Responsibilities
- Work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care.
- Give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.

- Perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including showers, bathroom assistance, dressing, and grooming.
