About The Position
Westminster Home Care is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide one-on-one home care to clients in St. Johns County. The CNA completes tasks requested by clients in accordance with home care guidelines and training, and as directed by the RN Supervisor. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, basic observation and monitoring, documentation, and companionship. The position is PRN, with shifts ranging from 2 to 12 hours and a flexible schedule; daytime, overnight, and weekend shifts are available.
Requirements
- One year of Certified Nursing Assistant experience.
- Active State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license.
- CPR certification completed in person, not online.
- Reliable and dependable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, and toileting, as well as other client needs.
- Perform light housekeeping, including removing trash and washing dishes.
- Do laundry as needed.
- Help ensure the bathroom, kitchen, and home are clean and safe.
- Provide basic observation, medical monitoring, and medication reminders under the RN Supervisor.
- Document completed tasks and report changes in a client's condition.
- Provide companionship and social engagement.
