About The Position
Westminster Home Care is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide one-on-one home care to clients in Pinellas County. The CNA completes tasks requested by clients in accordance with home care guidelines and training, and as directed by the RN Supervisor. The role supports seniors’ dignity, independence, and confidence in their homes. PRN scheduling varies by client, with shifts from 2 to 12 hours and flexible daytime, overnight, and weekend availability.
Requirements
- One year of Certified Nursing Assistant experience.
- Active State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license.
- CPR certification completed in person, not online.
- Reliable and dependable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, and toileting, as well as other client needs.
- Perform light housekeeping, including removing trash and washing dishes.
- Do laundry as needed.
- Help ensure the bathroom, kitchen, and home are clean and safe.
- Conduct basic observation and medical monitoring, and provide medication reminders under the RN Supervisor’s direction.
- Document completed tasks and report changes in a client’s condition.
- Provide companionship and social engagement.
