About The Position
Franciscan Care Center is a 68-bed skilled nursing facility in Merced, California, providing 24/7 skilled nursing care in a small, warm environment for residents receiving short-term rehabilitation. The facility offers physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides compassionate support with residents’ daily activities, personal care, hygiene, and vital signs, and helps maintain clean, organized rooms. The position is PRN and includes holiday and weekend coverage. Pay is $21.12–$25.72 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and skills.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to pass required background checks and employment screenings.
Responsibilities
- Help residents with daily activities.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support personal care and hygiene.
- Take and record vital signs.
- Keep resident rooms clean and organized.
- Provide compassionate care every day.
