About The Position

Join the Wellness Team in helping residents live their lives to the fullest by providing compassionate assistance with daily activities and responding promptly to their needs. The role includes personal care, meal service, laundry, meaningful conversation, and coordination with other care professionals. Candidates are required to complete criminal background screening and provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination before starting work or commit to completing vaccination within 30 days of starting, unless an exemption is approved. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Requirements

Successfully complete the state competency exam for CNA certification.
Ability to move and assist residents.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrate care and empathy for residents’ well-being.
Accurately record resident information and vital signs.
Work effectively with healthcare professionals as part of the Wellness Team.
Follow ethical standards and maintain the privacy of resident information.
Complete criminal background screening.
Show valid proof of full COVID-19 vaccination before commencing work or commit to obtaining full vaccination within 30 days of commencing work, unless an exemption is approved.

Responsibilities

Help residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Serve meals and support residents’ nutritional needs while following dietary guidelines and preferences.
Manage laundry to maintain clean and comfortable conditions for residents.
Respond promptly and empathetically to residents’ needs.
Work with other care professionals as part of the care team.
Record observations and updates about residents’ conditions accurately.
Follow safety rules and infection-control measures.
Participate in training and education to improve caregiving skills.
