About The Position
Benchmark is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide resident care in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. The role supports residents with daily living needs, documents care, reports changes in health or behavior, encourages meaningful activities, and offers emotional support. Associates are expected to use customer service skills to provide exceptional and meaningful care. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Valid CNA, HHA, or LNA license required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
- Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
- Perform other duties as needed.
