About The Position

Riverbend at Farmington is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate care and essential assistance to residents. The role includes helping residents with daily activities, serving meals, managing laundry, responding promptly to residents’ needs, and keeping accurate records. The position is offered part-time on weekends, with per-diem shifts available to pick up. Criminal background screening is required.

Requirements

• Successfully complete the state competency exam for CNA certification.
• Be able to move and assist residents.
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate genuine care and empathy for residents’ well-being.
• Accurately record resident information and vital signs.
• Work effectively with healthcare professionals as part of the Wellness team.
• Follow ethical standards and keep resident information private.
• Pass a criminal background screening.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Serve meals and ensure residents receive appropriate nutrition while following dietary guidelines and preferences.
• Manage laundry to maintain clean and comfortable surroundings for residents.
• Respond promptly and empathetically to residents’ needs.
• Work with other care professionals to support an effective care team.
• Record observations and updates about residents’ conditions accurately.
• Follow safety rules and infection control measures.
• Participate in training and education to improve caregiving skills.
