About The Position

Monarch Communities Spring Meadows is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Managers (CNAs) to assist senior living residents with aspects of daily life specified in their care plans. The role includes personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. The position is led by the community's Director of Health and Wellness. This is a per-diem position with day, evening, and overnight shifts: 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., or 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. Compensation is $21.00–$21.50 per hour.

Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
Ability to perform the listed physical activities, including standing, walking, sitting, using fine and gross motor skills, reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, and smelling.
Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds; intermittent lifting and supporting of residents is required, using proper body mechanics.

Nice To Haves

Dementia experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in each resident’s care plan.
Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of residents.
Escort residents to meals and activities.
Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
Document services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
