About The Position
Join Gundersen Health System’s Long Term Care team in Wabasha, Minnesota, as a Certified Nursing Assistant. The role provides basic resident care under the general supervision of an LPN or RN, and collaborates with health care team members to communicate and document accurate information. The position is listed at 0.85 FTE, with 34 scheduled hours weekly, typically on day shift, working 12-hour shifts. The schedule includes every third weekend and every other holiday.
Requirements
- Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Minnesota.
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification with hands-on learning from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic care for residents in nutrition, elimination, comfort, mobility, and safety under the general supervision of an LPN or RN.
- Work collaboratively with health care team members to communicate and document accurate information.
