Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About The Position
Elite Care Management, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to join its healthcare team. The company describes itself as a provider in the private duty health care industry for over 25 years, focused on exceptional patient care and improving community health outcomes. CNAs work with one patient for the complete shift, getting to know the patient, their needs, and their family life. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring patient comfort, and supporting overall well-being to enhance quality of life. Full-time and part-time shifts are available. Shift options are 7 a.m.–7 p.m. and 7 p.m.–7 a.m. on various weekdays and weekends. The pay range is $20–$22 per hour.
Requirements
- Driver's license.
- Social Security card.
- Auto insurance card.
- Current CPR card.
- State CNA certification.
- TB test results: a two-step test or chest X-ray within the last 12 months, or QuantiFERON Gold blood work within the last 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems, and report and discuss observations with a supervisor or case manager.
- Assist patients with lifting and transferring as needed to support mobility.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning, or preparing meals.
- Build relationships with patients through conversation and shared activities, and provide stimulation to support their mental health and alertness.
- Monitor patients' pulse, temperature, and respiration.
