About The Position

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 1099 Independent Contractor provides routine healthcare services in clients’ homes while following care plans to deliver safe and competent care. The role offers flexibility to set a schedule based on the caregiver’s and clients’ needs and availability. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of state-mandated training hours, if applicable.
• Basic knowledge of computer and internet-based applications for charting.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Compassionate and professional demeanor.
• Safe working knowledge of client-based equipment.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Provide evidence of health status that does not pose a risk to clients or other caregivers.
• CNA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plans to provide safe and competent care.
• Assist clients with personal hygiene and meal preparation.
• Help clients with mobility.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions or home situations to the RN Case Manager and HHA Coordinator.
