Certified Nursing Assistant CNA - Weekend Shifts
About The Position
FirstLight Home Care of Parkway is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care for an established client in the Sacramento area. The role offers a consistent part-time weekend schedule totaling 12 hours per weekend. Caregivers must be available for both morning and evening shifts on Saturdays and Sundays: 7:00 AM–10:00 AM and 5:00 PM–8:00 PM each day. FirstLight Home Care provides compassionate, personalized care to help clients maintain independence, dignity, and comfort at home. Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.
- Experience providing personal care in a home care, assisted living, or healthcare setting.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
- Ability to assist clients safely with mobility and personal care.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, professional attitude.
- Comfort using a smartphone for scheduling and care documentation.
- Ability to pass required background checks and meet applicable California home care employment requirements.
- Availability for both morning and evening shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Provide mobility and transfer assistance as needed.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when required.
- Provide medication reminders in accordance with the care plan.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's condition.
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete required electronic clock-in and clock-out procedures.
