About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The CNA delivers direct patient care, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, as directed. The role is an important member of the interdisciplinary team and contributes to quality patient care and positive outcomes for patients and their family members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from a state-approved CNA program.
• Current registration or licensure in the applicable state, maintained in active good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain current during employment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
• Deliver direct care to patients, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, as directed.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and others.
