About The Position

BrightStar Care of Brighton / Ann Arbor is hiring compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join their team in the Brighton, Howell, and Ann Arbor, MI areas. They offer flexible opportunities for full-time, part-time, or PRN work, including day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. The role involves providing compassionate, hands-on care to help clients maintain their comfort, independence, and quality of life. This includes assisting with daily living activities, mobility, errands, and reporting changes in client condition to the Director of Nursing.

Requirements

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
Ability to complete required screenings and continuing education
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
Provide companionship and assistance with errands and appointments
Assist with mobility activities according to the plan of care
Observe and report changes in client condition to the Director of Nursing
Provide dependable, compassionate care while treating every client with dignity and respect
